October flew by! It seemed like we were constantly going and doing fun things all month long. Mom and Dad came back with me from Utah, we adventured down to Ventura, took family pics in Ventura on the beach, the kids met their new pediatrician, and celebrated Halloween. It was a lot, but we LOVED every single thing about October.
Activity days project started the month out right. Building their very own temples out of toothpicks and marshmallows :)

We of course had to stop at the Cheesecake Factory in Pleasanton on our way home.
Back to physical therapy for my back. My physical therapist has me do a work out for 30 minutes, then he massages the areas that are hurting. Finally, he sets me up all cozy with heat for my back, and pumps for my legs. I get to watch sports news while I rest up. I wish the massages are as good as it sounds, but it's very painful as he works out loads of knots from my back to my foot.
Bring Grandma & Grandpa to lunch day! Everyone had Subway and enjoyed their time with Grandma and Pop. The kids LOVED that they were their for this special day.
Mom and Dad had lunch with Beckham and Quinn and then Jack. We had a blanket and chairs set up in the shade. It was super fun for everyone.

Quinn was Pops little helper on our sink problem. Now everything works great and these two had some bonding time :)
Legs are in pumps for physical therapy. They put heating pads on my back and elevate my legs in the compression sleeves. This is my favorite part of physical therapy.

And we're off! Here's to our trip to Ventura. I was so excited to check out one more place in CA.

We LOVED Ventura! So happy Mom and Dad could come and explore with us.

Our Airbnb was walking distance to the beach. We went every single day.
I chose to shoot our family photos from the beach this year. I loved how these turned out. There was a sweet person on the beach that was out for an evening walk. She snapped some photos for me. She happened to be a photographer as well and we ended up talking for some time ;) Her name was Nicole and she was walking her dog Haze. They were kind. Quinn loved her dog.

Our next day after we did pics on the beach we headed to Ojai. I have heard about Ojai and wanted to check it out. It reminded me a lot of Napa. It was a cute town but not a lot for us to do. We found a really cool park and stopped to play for a while.

After our adventure at the playground we headed to a look out point over Ojai. It did not disappoint.

Ahhh. Bliss with a little spot for a rainbow. We woke up this morning and headed down to the beach for a polar plunge to commemorate Brian's birthday. We all felt like Bri was with us as we ran full speed into the ocean and dove in. It was a cool experience as a family.

Home and playing football with our MVP in the back yard. He loved his new football he got from our Ventura trip. We had to pass it around a few times to break it in :)

We all read books while waiting for our turn. Everyone really enjoyed their time with the Nurse Practitioner. She was AWESOME! This clinic is very thorough. It was refreshing to see.
Time to get ready for Halloween.
Jack and Quinn helped me decorate outside with our homemade ghosts. It was a really fun project.
Another date for Pres and I. I introduced him to Pilates.

I came downstairs and found this guy like this. I laughed so hard. He looked like some gamer at the computer. Listening to Spotify, playing Minecraft, hat backwards, and sipping on some Butterscotch Root beer. I was dying.
Halloween Time!
We were Gryffindor fans at a Quidditch match.
The kids asked if we could stay in and have yummy snacks and play a game. I loved this idea so we did it. We popped popcorn, bought our favorite candy, and played Clue. It was such a fun family night.
Beckham won!
What a month?! Lots of moving parts and loads of fun! From coming back from Utah with Mom and Dad, having a fun Grandparents day, venturing to Ventura, fall festivals, dates with my guys, and Halloween. We loved our fall weather fun. I have a feeling November will have lots of surprises and excitement ;)
