Appreciating April

March was an incredible month. Full of fun, adventure, and family. April was a nice break, but we didn't slow down. This month was full of baseball practices, games, karate, and a dance to remember. Here's what April looked like for the Clark crew.

"Mom take a pic of me on this rock." Oh how I love this girl of mine.

Jack is up to bat and ready to hit. Go Giants!!

Long nights at the baseball field can be rough. These two play hard with their friends, and each other, while Jack does his thing. They are tuckered out by the time we get home. Love these two!

Peek a boo Q. She loves relaxing in the hammock and playing her Kindle.

We all got to visit Walter Woodward Elementary School to check out the boys classrooms. Beckham dressed up to be our guide :) I mean, seriously, how cute is he?! We were excited to begin our tour with 1st grade. Beckham boy took us all around his classroom. He made sure to show us his everyday routine and pictures on the wall. He was thrilled to show us his desk and all of the crafts he had done. He was the perfect and cutest guide :)
We went to Jack's class next. He, like Beckham, was so excited to give us a tour of his 2nd grade classroom. We learned all about his routine and checked out his art work on the walls. The kids really enjoyed having the family in their classes. We snapped this pic while visiting Jack's class.

A playdate with the cutest Doctor. This wanna be veterinarian took care of every Paw Patrol member. She gave each pup a thorough examination :) Oh how I love this girl. So grateful I have Quinnie in my life.

Beckham testing for his new belt!

He passed with flying colors. He punched and kicked so strong. We are so proud of him.

He did it! Getting his new belt.

So proud of you Beckham boy! Well done brother.

He broke his board in THREE pieces!! He was the only one to kick it that hard. He was beaming!

Jack was a recipient of several awards for his class. He was so surprised every time he heard his name. He had no idea that he'd be receiving so many, neither did we, haha. He came home with a certificate of achievement in reading, language, math, and a Rising Star certificate in math and language. He has outdone himself :) Pres and I were so proud of our Buddy Bear!

Way to go Jack!

Quinn joined in on duck duck goose at the end of karate. She was SO excited to be invited into the circle. She loves joining Beckham on the mat.

Easter Sunday!

The kids had such a fun time finding eggs and checking out their baskets. Poor Jack was hit with allergies pretty hard. He wasn't feeling super well. We ended up having to leave after sacrament because his nose just wouldn't stop running. Poor guy. He had a fun day even with all his sniffles.

Oh how I LOVE these kiddos.

The Easter bunny brought a few fun things this year. The kids were gifted a bubble gun, a brand new book, a giant chocolate bunny, and Reese's chocolate eggs (a family favortie). Easter was a huge win in this house. The kids were thrilled that the bunny came. We then focused on the true meaning of Easter, and spoke of Christ, and all He has done for us. It was a perfect Easter!

Mr. Jack has given us quite the run with his teeth :) He is officially apart of the orthodontia world. He has a spacer on the top and bottom now. He will eventually need braces, but they needed to keep his teeth from moving forward while we wait for the adult teeth to come in. He had several teeth pulled, but the adult teeth weren't ready just yet to come in.

One fun Prom!

The church put together a prom for all teens in the tri-stake area. Loads and loads of kids came out for the fun. I volunteered to be a chaperone since I work with the young women in our church. This specific dance was for any youth 16 and older. We had an absolute blast!

Dancing with Alex and Abby!

They had a fun photo booth.

My crew was the most fun! We had such a great time dancing, singing at the top of our lungs, and laughing so hard. From left to right back row we had: Maryn, Abby, Alex, Elliott, Lote, Tristan, Vance, then me and Jerica.

Goofy pic

Vance, Jerica, and Maryn

It was a surprisingly chilly night. The dancing helped keep us all warm. They decorated the church grounds so pretty. We had a balloon arch, hanging lights, catered food, and a fun DJ. It was a night to remember.

Abby, Lote, Elliott, Tristan, Alex

I can honestly say that everyone had a blast! We danced till our feet were about to fall off, haha. It took a minute to get these young people on the dance floor, but once I got them there, we never left. We had such a fun time. I'm looking forward to the next one :)

Once again we left a beautiful month behind us. We enjoyed every day. We experienced new things, stepped out of our shells, and dominated in areas of our life we had been working hard in. I am so grateful for this family of mine.
